Falcons Cut Five Players Including DE Efe Obada

The Atlanta Falcons announced that they’ve waived five players on Friday, bringing their roster to 84 players ahead of next week’s deadline to trim rosters to 75 players.

The players placed on waivers include: WR David Glidden, DE Efe Obada, FB Will Ratelle, CB Jordan Sefon, and G Jordan Walsh.

Obada, 24, signed on with the Cowboys back in April of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later added to the Cowboys’ practice squad at the start of the regular season.

The Falcons signed him to a contract last month.

Dallas elected to bring Obada back on a future/reserve contract after the season. However, they elected to cut him loose in March.

During the preseason, Obada recorded a single tackle over the coruse of three games for the Cowboys.
