Falcons Hosting S Darian Stewart For A Visit

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that former Ravens S Darian Stewart will be visiting with the Falcons.

  • D. Orlando Ledbetter reported earlier that the Falcons have a tight end and a safety flying in for visit on Friday.
  • Ralph Vacchiano first reported that Stewart would be meeting with the Falcons after his meeting with the Broncos concludes.
  • The Giants have also expressed interest in Stewart, but no visit is scheduled as of now.

Stewart, 26, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2010.

He spent the first four years of his career in St. Louis before the Ravens signed him to a one-year contract worth $1.3 million that included $300,000 guaranteed back in March of last year.

In 2014, Stewart wound up appearing in all 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 53 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble and four pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 30 safety out of 87 qualifying players.
