Treadwell was competing for a spot on Atlanta’s depth chart behind their starting duo of Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley after signing with the team this offseason.

Treadwell, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Vikings back in 2016. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $9,934,980 contract that included a signing bonus of $5,425,440 when the Vikings declined Treadwell’s fifth-year option last year.

Minnesota attempted to trade Treadwell and later waived him coming out of the preseason. He returned to the Vikings a few weeks later and finished out the season in Minnesota.

In 2019, Treadwell appeared in 13 games for the Vikings and caught nine passes for 184 yards receiving and one touchdown.
