Atlanta now has their entire rookie class under contract following this signing.
Southward’s four-year contract is worth an estimated $3,113,932 and includes a signing bonus of $690,832, according to OverTheCap.com.
At Wisconsin, Southward recorded 152 tackles, 11.5 tackles for a loss, 12 passes defensed, four forced fumbles and two interceptions over the course of four years.
