Former Lions WR Titus Young Arrested Again

Former Lions receiver and current free agent Titus Young has been arrested for battery with serious bodily injury and has been taken into custody, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.

  • There are no details available at this time regarding Young’s arrest.

Young’s arrest actually took place on July, which happened to be a day before his pretrial hearing regarding four felonies and seven other criminal charges that he is currently facing.

He was arrested two separate times in a matter of 15 hours last May. Young’s father mentioned publicly that his son has a mental disorder and is in need of treatment.

Young, 24, was a former second-round pick of the Lions back in 2011. He lasted just two years with the team before he was ultimately waived. It seems almost certain that Young has played his final snap in the NFL.

Hopefully Young gets the help he needs is able to turn things around at some point in time.
