Former Steelers RB Isaac Redman’s NFL Career Is Over

Isaac Redman announced Friday that the reason he’s currently not playing in the NFL is because he suffered a career-ending spinal cord injury.

Pittsburgh released Redman in October of last year after he appeared in three games and ran for just 11 yards.

Redman is still only 29 years old, so this is obviously disappointing news.

Over the course of his five-year NFL career, Redman ran for 1,148 yards on 283 carries (4.1 YPC) and contributed 50 receptions for 408 yards receiving. He scored a total of seven touchdowns.
