Free Agent RB Darrin Reaves Arrested For Incident Involving Two Women

According to WRMJ, free agent RB Darrin Reaves was arrested Sunday on two felony counts of unlawful restraint and one misdemeanor count of criminal trespass following an incident with two women last Sunday in Aledo, Illinois.

Reaves had a prior relationship with one of the women, according to Mercer County State’s Attorney Meeghan Lee.

Both women have since filed an order of protections against Reaves, who is due back in Mercer County Circuit Court on July 10th.

Reaves posted bond of $10,000.

Reaves, 24, originally signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of UAB back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in Carolina before he was waived and later signed by the Chiefs during the 2015 preseason.

Reaves has been on and off of the Chiefs’ practice squad the past two seasons but returned to Kansas City on a future/reserve contract this past January. The Chiefs waived him with an injury settlement a month ago.

In 2014, Reaves appeared in six games and rushed 77 yards on 32 carries (2.4 YPC) to go along with five receptions for 31 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
