Giants OL Sean Locklear Has “Serious” Injury, Will Require Surgery

Giants OL Sean Locklear sustained a bad knee injury during Monday night’s loss to the Redskins, according to Paul Schwartz.

“It’s always tough to lose one of your brothers,” said Giants OL David Diehl, who will take Locklear’s spot in the lineup. “He’s been a great guy for us, a great asset for our football team. It’s awful.”

The Giants will need improved offensive line play down the stretch if they want to hold off the division rival Redskins, who are hot on their tail. Diehl has a lot experience in the Giants’ system and has been a reliable option for Eli Manning in the past.
