Giants Release K Marshall Koehn From Practice Squad

The New York Giants announced Friday that they’ve released K Marshall Koehn from their practice squad.

Here’s the Giants updated practice squad:

  1. CB Grant Haley
  2. OLB Avery Moss
  3. WR Alonzo Russell
  4. RB Jhurell Pressley
  5. OT Victor Salako
  6. LB Ukeme Eligwe
  7. RB Robert Martin
  8. OT Jylan Ware
  9. WR Quadree Henderson
  10. K Marshall Koehn

The Giants elected to sign Koehn to their taxi squad in case Aldrick Rosas was unable to play in Week 6 due to a quad injury. However, Rosas managed to suit up and the team clearly feels comfortable with him moving forward.

Koehn, 26, wound up signing on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa back in 2016. He was waived coming out of the preseason and unfortunately sat out the entire 2016 season.

The Vikings signed him to a future/reserve contract last year but he was once again cut loose at the start of the regular season.

After a brief stint with the Bengals last year, Koehn signed a futures deal with the Giants this past January before being waived at the start of the season.

In 2017, Koehn appeared in one game and converted one extra point attempt.
