Werner, 25, was taken with the No. 24 overall pick during the 2013 NFL draft by the Colts. He was in the final year of his four-year, $7.896 million rookie contract when he was released in a move that freed up $1,481,781 in available cap space for the Colts.

The Jaguars signed him to a contract in May.

In 2015, Werner appeared in 10 games for the Colts and registered just 13 tackles and no sacks. In total, Werner played just 152 snaps for the Colts last year.

Bartu, 25, signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Texas State back in May. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, and spent a few months with the team before he was placed on waivers in November of last year.

The Falcons signed him to a contract towards end of last season.
