Tom Pelissero reports that the Jaguars have waived sixth-round QB Tanner Lee on Saturday as they cut their roster down to 53 players.
Other Jaguars’ cuts include:
- DE Carroll Phillips
- OL Michael Dunn
- TE David Grinnage
- RB Brandon Wilds
- WR Allen Lazard
- DL Lyndon Johnson
- QB Tanner Lee
Lee, 23, redshirted at Tulane back in 2013 before transferring to Nebraska in time for the 2016 season. He redshirted his first year in Nebraska before being named the starting quarterback for the 2017 season.
During his college career at Tulane and Nebraska, Lee threw for 6,744 yards while completing 55.2 percent of his passes to go along with 46 touchdowns and 37 interceptions.
