The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they’ve waived WR Rashad Greene on Saturday to make room for RB Brandon Wilds, who was promoted to their active roster.
Greene, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.523 million contract and set to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.
In 2016, Greene appeared in eight games for the Jaguars and caught five passes for 32 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
