Phillip Heilman of the Athletic reports that the Jaguars have waived QB Tanner Lee on Saturday.
Lee, 23, is a former sixth-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2018. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2,601,544 that included $141,544 in guarantees when Jacksonville elected to waive him as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
The Jaguars re-signed Lee to their practice squad before promoting him in December of last year.
During his college career at Tulane and Nebraska, Lee threw for 6,744 yards while completing 55.2 percent of his passes to go along with 46 touchdowns and 37 interceptions.
