Jets Interested In Centers Matt Paradis & Mitch Morse

Sources tell Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News that the Jets have interest in free agent centers Matt Paradis and Mitch Morse.

The Jets are clearly looking to revamp their offensive line and already have a trade agreement in place with the Raiders to acquire G Kelechi Osemele.

Paradis, 29, is a former sixth-round pick of the Broncos back in 2014. He was waived at the start of his rookie season and later signed to their practice squad.

Denver brought Paradis back on an exclusive rights contracts

before re-signed him to a one-year, $2.914 million restricted deal last year. Paradis will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

In 2018, Paradis appeared in nine games for the Broncos and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 2 center out of 38 qualifying players.

Morse, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2015. He played out the final year of his four-year rookie contract with the Chiefs and is now in line to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason for the first time in his NFL career.

In 2018, Morse appeared in 11 games for the Chiefs and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 13 center out of 38 qualifying players.

We have both of them featured in our Top 100 – 2019 NFL Free Agents list.
