The New York Jets announced Friday that they’ve placed rookie LB Blake Cashman on injured reserve and promoted LB Frankie Luvu to their active roster.
- The Jets also signed LB Jamey Mosley to their practice squad.

Cashman suffered the injury this week in practice. He’s the latest Jets linebacker to be lost to injury.
Cashman, 23, was drafted by the Jets in the fifth round out of Minnesota in the 2019 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year rookie deal worth $2.8 million and is set to make base salaries of $495,000 and $585,000 the next two seasons.
In 2019, Cashman appeared in seven games for the Jets and recorded 40 total tackles, half a sack, one fumble recovery and one pass defense.
