The New York Jets have re-signed QB Josh McCown to a one-year deal, according to his agent.

McCown, 38, is a former third-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2002. He played for several teams including the Lions, Raiders, Dolphins, Panthers, 49ers, Bears, Buccaneers and Browns before signing a one-year, $6 million contract with the Jets as an unrestricted free agent last offseason.
In 2017, McCown appeared in 12 games for the Jets and thrown for 2,880 yards while completing 67.8 percent of his passes to go along with 18 touchdowns and eight interceptions.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 23 quarterback out of 40 qualifying players.
