Jets Receive Roster Exemption For WR Titus Davis, Who Left Training Camp

The New York Jets officially received a roster exemption for WR Titus Davis, who has left the team’s training camp.

Davis, 23, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan back in May. He was unfortunately among their early roster cuts, but he later caught on with the Jets for a brief period of time before later signing on to the Bills’ practice squad.

Buffalo cut him loose a few months ago before he later returned to the Jets’ practice squad in November. The Jets elected to bring Davis back on a future/reserve contract in January.

Davis has yet to appear in an NFL game.
