The New York Jets announced Monday that they’ve signed DT Destiny Vaeao to their practice squad.

- OT Dieugot Joseph

- DT Destiny Vaeao
Vaeao, 24, signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Washington State back in 2016. He is in the final year of a three-year, $1.62 million contract and set to earn a base salary of $630,000 this season.
The Eagles waived Vaeao with an injury designation a few weeks ago and later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list before being released with an injury settlement.
In 2018, Vaeao has appeared in six games for the Eagles and recorded two total tackles and one sack.
