Jets Sign Nine Players To Futures Deal

The New York Jets announced Monday that they’ve signed nine players to futures contracts for the 2020 season.

The full list includes:

  1. LB Ahmad Gooden
  2. WR Keon Hatcher
  3. DE Bronson Kaufusi
  4. OL Corbin Kaufusi
  5. OL Brad Lundblade
  6. OL James Murray
  7. LB Wyatt Ray
  8. QB Mike White
  9. P Ian Berryman

Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.

White, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2018. He signed a four-year, $2.7 million contract with Dallas, but was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Jets later signed White to their practice squad.

During his college career at Western Kentucky and USF, White threw for 11,262 yards while completing 62 percent of his passes to go along with 74 touchdowns and 31 interceptions over the course four seasons and 44 games.
