Jets Signing Former Saints RB Khiry Robinson

Albert Breer reports that the Jets are signing former Saints RB Khiry Robinson to a contract on Thursday.

The Jets continue to reshape their backfield after losing Chris Ivory to the Jaguars

The Saints elected to not tender restricted contract to Robinson earlier in the week, which allowed him to test the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

Robinson, 26, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of West Texas A&M back in 2013. He managed to make the team’s 53-man roster in all three years with the Saints.

In 2015, Robinson appeared in eight games and ran for 180 yards on 56 carries (3.2 YPC) to go along with 17 receptions for 115 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
