Jets Worked Out Olympic Sprinter Tre Houston

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the Jets brought in Olympic sprinter and projected wide receiver Tre Houston for a workout on Thursday.

The Kansas City Chiefs brought Houston for a workout last Friday but didn’t sign him to a contract following the session.

It’s likely that teams are looking at Houston as a possible future/reserve signing to see what he can do during offseason workouts.

Houston, 26, competed in the 200 meters at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro for Bermuda and placed sixth in his heat after posting a time of 20.85.
