Jon Gruden Expected To Hire Rams QBs Coach Greg Olson As OC

Alex Marvez reports that if/when Jon Gruden is hired as the Raiders’ new head coach, the expectation is that he’ll hire Rams QBs coach Greg Olson as his offensive coordinator.

Gruden is expected to interview Bengals DC Paul Guenther for the Raiders’ defensive coordinator job. There’s also talk that Gruden could hire Rich Gannon to be his QBs coach, so it sounds like his coaching staff is really coming together.

Olson, 54, began his NFL coaching career with the Bears back in 2003 as their QBs coach. Since then, he’s worked for the Rams, Buccaneers, Jaguars and Raiders before the Rams hired him as their QBs coach last year.

We’ll have more regarding Gruden and his coaching staff as the news is available.
