Latest On A Potential Logan Mankins Trade

Despite their differences, it appears that Logan Mankins will likely remain with the New England Patriots and report to the team bye week 10.

Mankins had been mentioned as an option for the Dallas Cowboys as well as the Chicago Bears. Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times has shot down this idea because of the fact that the Bears are on the hook for several large contracts and the team isn’t likely to trade away more draft picks since they didn’t have a draft pick until the third-round of last years draft.

Mean while Jason La Canfora tweets that the Patriots are looking for a first-round or a high second-round pick for Mankins who is also seeking a deal around $8 million a season. A pretty high asking price for any team to pay.
