Latest Regarding Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill

On Thursday, KCTV 5 in Kansas City posted audio of a conversation said to be between Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill and his fiancee Crystal Espinal regarding the incident involving their son.

The audio was an “insurance policy” for Espinal, given to a friend and later passed along to KCTV 5, per Brooke Pryor

Here’s the transcript of the conversation:

Crystal Espinal: “He is terrified of you. And you say that he respects you, but it’s not respect.

Tyreek Hill: “He respects me.”

Crystal: “He is terrified of you.”

Hill: “You need to be terrified of me, too, bitch. That’s why you can’t keep a fucking man.”

Crystal Espinal: “He started crying & you were like, ‘Shut up, shut up, stop crying, stop crying.'”

Tyreek Hill: “Right.”

Crystal Espinal: “He kept crying because he was scared. He’s terrified. You grabbed onto him somehow or he fell? 1 of the 2.

Hill: “I didn’t do nothing.”

Crystal Espinal: “Then why does he say, ‘Daddy did it.’? Why?”

Tyreek Hill: “He says Daddy does a lot of things.”

Crystal Espinal: “A 3-year-old is not going to lie about what happened to his arm.”

The audio has been given to Johnson County district attorney.

This comes just a day after Johnson County district attorney Stephen Howe announced they declined to file charges in the investigation Hill and Espinal.

Howe explained that they believe a crime occurred but the evidence couldn’t conclusively determine who committed the crime.

Hill, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2016. He is entering the final year of his four-year, $2.58 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $1,965,036 for the 2019 season.

In 2018, Hill appeared in 16 games for the Chiefs and caught 87 passes for 1,479 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns to go along with 151 yards rushing and a touchdown. Hill also totaled 213 punt returns and one touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 7 receiver out of 117 qualifying players.
