Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports that Lions RB Kevin Smith wasn’t able to participate in the teams Thursday practice.
Smith has been dealing with an ankle injury and appeared to aggravate the injury during last weekends loss to the Saints. This leaves Maurice Morris as the teams starting running back barring quick turnaround from Smith.
