NFC North Notes: Bears, Lions, Vikings

Bears

Bears S Eddie Jackson said the team “trusts” backup QB Chase Daniel if he has to fill in for Mitchell Trubisky, who is doubtful for Week 12 due to a shoulder injury.

We trust Chase like we trust Mitch. We go up against him in scout teams, so we know what he is capable of and the plays he is able to make,” said Jackson, via SiriusXM NFL Radio.

Jackson added that the Bears’ gameplan with Daniels will remain the same.

“We talked about whoever is in there and the gameplan is going to be the same; to go out there, be aggressive, and dominate,” said Jackson.

Lions

Lions RB LeGarrette Blount admitted that his 2018 season hasn’t been as productive as he would have thought, but he’s hoping to change things over the remainder of the season.

“It’s not really as productive as I would have wanted it to be, but at the end of the day you’ve got to strap it up and go play football,” Blount said, via the Detroit Free Press. “You can’t live in the past, so I’m just moving on from this game.”

  1. Ha! No way will Barr miss a chance to take another “clean” shot at Aaron Rodgers. The Vikings need to get to the playoffs and choke again after all.
