NFC West Notes: 49ers, Cardinals, Seahawks

Matt Maiocco of NBC Bay Area takes a look at 10 free agents who could make sense for the 49ers as they look to improve their defensive front-seven including:

  • Josh Weinfuss believes LSU CB Greedy Williams could still be an option for the Cardinals in round one if they end up trading down from No. 1 overall, even after signing Robert Alford
  • Other areas of need Weinfuss could see Arizona addressing by trading down include receiver and offensive line.
  • The Arizona Cardinals announced that they’ve hired former Lions executive Matt Harriss as director of football administration.

Seahawks free agent LB K.J. Wright mentioned during an interview with Sirius XM NFL Radio that he would like to finish out his career in Seattle playing alongside of Bobby Wagner

I definitely want to finish my career playing beside him,” Wright said. “We know that, Seattle knows that, we’ll just have to see how it turns out.
