NFC West Notes: Cardinals, 49ers, Rams, Seahawks

Cardinals

• ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss writes that the offensive line, wide receiver and pass rusher are the top draft needs for the Cardinals. 
• Cardinals placed DL Rodney Gunter on injured reserve. (NFLTR)
• Cardinals re-signed DT Caraun Reid.

49ers

• According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, 49ers CB Richard Sherman has a Grade 2 hamstring strain and his status for this coming week against the Falcons is in question.
• 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan confirmed the report, saying Sherman would likely miss a few weeks. (Jennifer Lee Chan)
• Shanahan added that DE Dee Ford also re-aggravated his hamstring and would probably miss at least three weeks. (Nick Wagoner)
• 49ers placed WR Marquise Goodwin on injured reserve. (NFLTR)
• 49ers signed LB Joey Alfieri and G Kofi Amichia to their practice squad.
• 49ers released WR Deontay Burnett and LB Christian Sam from their practice squad.
• 49ers placed DB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles on the practice squad injured list.

Rams

• With no first-round pick this year, ESPN’s Lindsey Thiry writes finding depth on the offensive line will be the top priority for the Rams in the draft this year. 

Seahawks

• ESPN’s Brady Henderson expects the Seahawks to target the offensive and defensive lines in the draft, with DEs Jadeveon Clowney and Ezekiel Ansah, DT Jarran Reed, G Mike Iupati, OT Germain Ifedi, OL George Fant, DT Al Woods and DL Quinton Jefferson all in expiring deals. 
• Seattle worked out RBs Nick Brossette, Matthew Dayes, and Xavier Turner on Tuesday. (Howard Balzer)
