• Citing multiple well-placed NFL sources, Matt Maiocco reports that new HC Jim Tomsula’s salary with 49ers is believed to be worth $3.5 million annually.

Bears

• New Bears HC John Fox said that he plans to “make things right” with LB Brian Urlacher after he felt disrespected by the team last year.

“I know Brian,” Fox said. “We’re going to make things right with him.“

Lions

• Ian Rapoport reports that the Bears have requested permission to interview Lions QB coach Jim Bob Cooter for their offensive coordinator position, but the Lions blocked the meeting.

Raiders

• According to La Canfora, the top candidates to purchase the team are likely David Tepper and Fred Smith.
