NFL Notes: 49ers, Falcons, Panthers, Texans

49ers

• 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan announced that RB Carlos Hyde will be a game-time decision this weekend. (Matt Maiocco)
• The 49ers officially ruled out rookie LB Reuben Foster (ankle) and S Eric Reid (knee) for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals. (Nick Wagoner)
• San Francisco also lists Jaquiski Tartt, Kyle Juszczyk, and Brock Coyle as questionable, but Shanahan is optimistic they’ll play.

Falcons

• The Atlanta Falcons officially ruled out RT Ryan Schraeder, S Ricardo Allen, LB Vic Beasley, DE Courtney Upshaw, and RB Terron Ward for Sunday’s game against the Bills.

Panthers

• According to Howard Balzer, the Panthers brought in four free agents for workouts on Wednesday including WR C.J. Board, WR Germone Hopper, WR Jamaal Jones, and QB Marcus McDade.

Texans

• The Houston Texans officially ruled out G Greg Mancz with a knee injury and CB Kevin Johnson with a sprained MCL. (Aaron Wilson)
• This means that Jeff Allen will once again start for the Texans at right guard.
