Bengals

Bengals impending free agent G Clint Boling mentioned that he would like to re-sign with Cincinnati during the offseason.

Lions

Impending free agent K Matt Prater has told his agent that he wants to re-sign with the Lions.

“I’ve already told my agent that I want to stay here because I enjoy it so much,” Prater said Monday, via DetroitLions.com. “Everyone has been super good to me out here and I want to stay here.

“I feel loyalty here because they gave me an opportunity, and I had a lot of fun being here. I love the team, the coaches, from the ownership, Martin (Mayhew), Tom (Lewand) and everyone. I’ve had a lot of fun.

Panthers

  • HC Ron Rivera didn’t rule out the possibility that they could sign WR Stephen Hill off of their practice squad for Saturday’s playoff game against the Seahawks. (David Newton)

Raiders

  • Ian Rapoport reports that the status of Raiders DC Jason Tarver is noteworthy give that his contract expires in less than two weeks and a number of head-coaching candidates have him on their short list of candidates for their staffs.
  • According to Rapoport, the Raiders are hoping to keep Tarver.

Steelers

Steelers impending free agents LB Arthur Moats and CB Brice McCain both said they would like to be back in Pittsburgh next year.

“Just whatever the best situation is for me and my family. … They come first,” Moats said, via the Pittsburgh Tribune Review. “We will see what happens, but I would definitely want to be back.”

“I love it here. I would love to stay here,” McCain said. “(Coach Mike) Tomlin is sort of famous for being the kind of coach who brings out the best in guys,” said McCain’s agent, David Canter. “We hope to have Brice back (in Pittsburgh).”
