Bills

• HC Mike Pettine said QB Brian Hoyer will start their final preseason game and will play for “less than a quarter.” (Mary Kay Cabot)

• DT Henry Melton returned to practice on Monday after sustaining a pulled groin on August 11.
• CB Morris Claiborne resumed practice  on Monday after missing time due to a shoulder injury.

Giants
