Cowboys

  • Bob Sturm of the Dallas Morning News isn’t convinced that RB Lance Dunbar is a lock to make the Cowboys’ final 53-man roster.
  • However, Strum admits thatย Dunbar has bothย experience and special teams ability, which could help his chances.

Jaguars

Jaguars HC Gus Bradleyย mentioned that RBย Storm Johnson has “plateaued a little bit” in offseason workouts.

โ€œStorm had been doing really well and then he plateaued a little bit,โ€ Bradley said, via Florida Times Union. โ€œWe need to get him going.โ€

Lions

  • Lions second-round OLB Kyle Van Noy admitted that he’s still not quite 100 percent, but he believes he’s in good enough shape to fully participate inย OTAs. (Justin Rogers)

Patriots

Patriots S Devinย McCourtyย toldย reporters after Friday’sย OTA sessionย that he wants to remain at safety, rather than move back to cornerback, which some had proposedย recently.

โ€œI want to play safety, but itโ€™s out of my control so whatever the coaches decide is what it will have to be,โ€ย McCourty said, viaย Steve Silvaย of the Boston Globe.
