Draft

Broncos

• Impending free agent Wes Welker said there’s a lot of things to consider when it comes to be being back with the Broncos next year.

“I don’t know. There’s a lot of things I need to figure out,” Welker said, per Nicki Jhabvala.

Browns

• According to Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net, there’s talk that the perceived pressure in Cleveland to play rookie Johnny Manziel could keep potential offensive coordinator candidates from interviewing with the team.

Jets

Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net has spoken to sources who have not been complimentary of the Jets pending hire of Mike Maccagnan as their next general manager.

Pauline’s sources do not believe Maccagnan has the resume to run an organization, and they seem to believe this is a Charley Casserly hire.

Casserly has ties to Maccagnan and has said that they will target a candidate with quality experience drafting players.

Panthers

• WR Stephen Hill said he would like to be back with the Panthers next year. (Joe Person)
• HC Ron Rivera seemed to indicate last week that they would like to have him back next year. (Joe Person)
