NFL Notes: Draft, Eagles, Dolphins, & Rams

Draft

• Todd McShay of ESPN lists the Jets and Rams as two teams to watch for Oregon QB Marcus Mariota.
• Tony Pauline reports Nebraska DE/OLB Randy Gregory is believed to have “a lot of interest” from the Giants and Jets.
• Pauline mentions that Utah DB Eric Rowe has worked out for the Texans, and Browns, and has met with the Cowboys.
• Sticking Rowe, Pauline adds that he’ll meet with the Patriots and Eagles in the coming days.
• TCU LB Paul Dawson met with the Vikings and will visit the Panthers and Patriots in the coming weeks, according to Pauline.

Dolphins

• James Walker reports that the Dolphins are hosting Michigan LB Jake Ryan for a visit.

Eagles

• Bo Marchionte reports that San Diego State OT Terry Poole will visit with the Eagles.

Rams

Rams HC Jeff Fisher says it’s their intention to come away with a quarterback this year’s NFL Draft.

“It’s our intention to draft one,” Fisher said at the owners meetings, per Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “The Nick trade has no bearing over what we do in the draft.“
