  • As for Alabama OT  O.J. Howard, one NFC general manager believes former Alabama OC Lane Kiffinnever really knew what to do with” him” and is not worried about him from a talent standpoint. The GM went on to say that all he needs to know regarding Howard is if he still “loves football.

  • Ian Rapoport writes the Falcons should keep QBs coach Matt LaFleur and offensive assistant Mike McDaniel if OC Kyle Shanahan signs with another team.
  • However, Matt Miller of B/R believes McDaniel becoming Shanahan’s offensive coordinator “makes a lot of sense.”

  • Alex Marvez confirms with two sources that Bears LBs coach Clint Hurtt is signing a two-year contract with the Jets to become their next OLBs coach.
  • Marvez is told that “at least” one other team was interested in Hurtt.
