NFL Notes: LeSean McCoy, Dolphins, Falcons, Packers, & Titans

LeSean McCoy

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk writes that it would be better for RB LeSean McCoy to have the Eagles to approach him about reworking his contract before  March 10

given that the longer he waits, the larger the impact would be on the type of salary he could be obtain.

Dolphins

Falcons

  • Alex Marvez reports that K Matt Bryant‘s new contract with the Falcons includes a $1 million bonus that’s due on March 31, and a $300,000 roster bonus due on June 3.
  • Bryant will make a base salary of $1.35 million for the 2015 season.
  • He can earn another $31,250 in 2015 for each game he’s active up to $500,000.
  • Next year, Bryant is due a $300,000 bonus if he’s on the Falcons’ roster as of the fifth day of 2016 league year, according to Marvez.

  • Ed Werder doesn’t see the Packers franchising WR Randall Cobb given that it would run Packers $12.7 million for the 2015 season.
