Now that we finally have some resolution to the Marvin Lewis saga that played out today, the attention has been turned to the Bengals outspoken wide receivers.
Bengals.com addressed the futures of Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco by saying that the return of Marvin Lewis “would seem to seal the departure of wide receivers Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens.”
One of the things that Marvin Lewis was pushing for was to have a larger influence over the teams personnel decision. Getting rid of the two wideouts could be the start of Lewis’s personnel decisions.
We’ve already suggested that Ochocinco could end up being an option for the Patriots if they remain interested while Owens, who is coming off of a great season, is likely to get several looks from different teams but their time in Cincinnati could be coming to an end.
