NFL Rumors: Trade Market, Chiefs, Patriots, Vikings

Trade Market

  • Jay Glazer reports that NFL teams are continuing to make calls about potential trades on Tuesday.
  • However, Glazer explains that asking prices don’t seem to be realistic at this point on many of the players called about.
  • Glazer notes that teams saw Amari Cooper traded for a first-round pick and it has over-inflated the asking price for players.
  • According to Glazer, many of the players being shopped around have one year left on their deals.

Chiefs

  • According to Dan Graziano, the Chiefs are a team to watch this afternoon, especially for Giants DBs Janoris Jenkins and Landon Collins.
  • Graziano mentions that the Chiefs have two second-round picks to work with next year. Although a source explained to Graziano that those picks are the Chiefs and Rams, so it’s possible they could be the last two picks of the round.
  • While the Chiefs have been linked to Jenkins for a few days now, Terez A. Paylor says they aren’t interested in him and Kansas City could instead stick with what they’ve got.

Patriots

  • Jason La Canfora confirms the reports that the Patriots are discussing a trade with the Browns to reacquire LB Jamie Collins before today’s deadline.
