Packers Officially Sign RB Michael Hill

The Green Bay Packers officially signed RB Michael Hill on Wednesday, according to the NFL Transaction release.

  • Wes Hodkiewicz reports that the Packers signed Hill to a two-year contract.

Hill’s agent, Harold Lewis, told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel a little over a week ago that he was re-signing with the Packers after be was waived by the Buccaneers following an arrest for disorderly conduct back in January.

“He felt like that was home for him,” Lewis said. “That’s where he wanted to be.”

The Buccaneers signed him off of the Packers practice squad last year after they suffered some injuries at the position.

Hill, 24, signed as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri Western State with Green Bay. He appeared in eight games for the Bucs last season, totaling 23 yards rushing on nine carries and another 23 yards receiving.
