Panthers DE Wes Horton Reinstated From Suspension

Howard Balzer reports that Panthers DE Wes Horton was reinstated from suspended list Monday.

The Panthers will receive a roster exemption that will expire on Monday of next week for Horton.

Horton, 25, also signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out USC back in 2013. He was in the final year of his three-year, $1.485 million rookie contract when the Panthers cut him a few months ago.

However, Carolina later re-signed him to a contract a week into October.

This year, Horton has appeared in eight games and recorded seven tackles and a sack for the Panthers.
