Raiders Place OT Trent Brown Back On COVID-19 List, Designate CB Damon Arnette To Return

The Las Vegas Raiders officially designated CB Damon Arnette to return from injured reserve and placed OT Trent Brown on the COVID-19 list, according to Albert Breer

The Raiders also promoted RB Theo Riddick to their active roster.

This opens a three-week window of time for the Raiders to activate him from injured reserve and add him to their 53-man roster.

Brown, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2015. He was traded to the Patriots in 2018 in a pick swap.

Brown played out the final year of his four-year, $2.28 million contract before agreeing to a record four-year, $66 million deal that includes $36.75 million guaranteed with the Raiders last offseason.

In 2020, Brown has appeared in two games for the Raiders and made two starts at right tackle.

Arnette, 23, was a three-year starter at Ohio State and earned second-team All-Big Ten honors last season before being selected by the Raiders with the No. 19 pick in the draft.

Arnette signed a projected four-year, $13,418,540 rookie contract that includes a  $7,318,938 signing bonus. The contract includes a fifth-year for the Raiders to pick up for the 2024 season.

In 2020, Arnette has appeared in three games for the Raiders and recorded 12 total tackles and one pass defense.
