The Oakland Raiders officially re-signed TE Ryan O’Malley and DT Demetrius Cherry to their practice squad on Thursday, according to Scott Bair.
The Raiders’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR K.J. Brent
- CB Kenneth Durden
- DL Branden Jackson
- WR Jaydon Mickens
- G Oni Omoile
- OT Takoby Cofield (Injured)
- DE Jimmy Bean
- TE Cooper Helfet
- G Ian Silberman
- TE Ryan O’Malley
- DT Demetrius Cherry
O’Malley, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Pennsylvania back in May. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason but was later added to the team’s practice squad.
The Raiders elected to call him up back in October but they cut him loose this past weekend.
In 2016, O’Malley has appeared in one game but hasn’t recorded a statistic.
