According to Adam Schefter, the Raiders have released DL Josh Mauro.
Mauro signed with the Raiders in free agency this offseason.
Mauro, 28, originally signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in 2014. He was later waived and re-signed to their practice squad at the start of the regular season.
The Cardinals eventually signed Mauro off of the Steelers’ practice squad and elected to bring him back on an exclusive rights contract before signing him to a two-year, $5.8 million contract in 2017.
Unfortunately, the Cardinals elected to cut him loose back in March and he later agreed to a one-year contract with the Giants for the 2018 season.
In 2018, Mauro appeared in 12 games for the Giants, recording 28 tackles, four tackles for loss and one sack.
