Raiders Sign LB Lorenzo Alexander, Waive LB Horace Miller

The Oakland Raiders announced the signing of veteran LB Lorenzo Alexander on Wednesday.

  • The Raiders also waived LB Horace Miller to make room for their new addition.

This comes just a few days after he was cut loose by the Arizona Cardinals as they trimmed their roster down to 75 players.

Alexander, 32, originally signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2005. He spent a few years in Carolina before joining the Ravens and Redskins. Arizona later signed him to a three-year contract in March of 2013.

In 2014, Alexander appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and recorded 13 tackles and a sack.
