Raiders Waive DT Darius Latham

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Raiders have placed DT Darius Latham on waivers Thursday.

For what it’s worth, the Raiders have been linked to some defensive tackle prospects this year’s draft, so it won’t be surprising to see them address in the position either today or tomorrow.

Latham, 23, wound up signing on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of back in May of 2016. He’was in the second year of his three-year, $1.62 million contract when the Raiders waived him last year to make room for WR Michael Crabtree, who was reinstated from suspension.

The Raiders later signed Latham to their practice squad.

In 2017, Latham appeared in three games and recorded seven tackles and no sacks for the Raiders.
