Rams DE Morgan Fox Out For Season With Torn ACL

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Rams DE Morgan Fox suffered a torn ACL during Thursday’s OTA practice.

This is now the third ACL tear this week and we’re just a few days into OTAs.

You can expect the Rams to waive Fox with an injury designation and for him to revert to injured reserve after clearing waivers.

Fox, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State-Pueblo back in 2016. He was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad and eventually promoted to their active roster.

Fox stands to make a base salary of $630,000 for the 2018 season.

In 2017, Fox appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and recorded 19 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a recovery and a safety.
