Rams Sign Four Players Including DE/OLB Ryan Davis, Cut Two

The Los Angeles Rams announced that they’ve signed four players including DE Ryan Davis, WR Aaron Lacombe, WR Khadarel Lott, and WR JoJo Natson to contracts on Tuesday.

  • The Rams also waived WRs LaQuvionte Gonzalez and Ricky Jeune.

Davis, 29, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Bethune-Cookman back in 2012. He was on an off of their practice squad before making the 53-man roster in 2014.

Davis returned to the Jaguars on a one-year restricted tender for the 2016 season. However, Jacksonville elected to cut him loose at the start of the regular season and he signed on with the Cowboys soon after.

The Bills signed Davis to a two-year, $2.2 million contract last year and he was set to make a base salary of $1.125 million for the 2018 season when Buffalo released him back in March.

In 2017, Davis appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and recorded 26 tackles, three sacks, and a forced fumble. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 74 edge defender out of 106 qualifying players.

We had him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
