The Los Angeles Rams officially waived WR Justin Sumpter with a non-football injury designation on Wednesday.
Sumpter wound up going undrafted out of Kennesaw State following this year’s draft. He agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Rams.
However, it appears as though the Rams determined that he’s dealing with an undisclosed injury.
During his college career at Kennesaw State, Sumpter caught 111 passes for 1,989 yards receiving and 21 touchdowns over the course of 42 games.
