Rams Worked Out OTs Jeremiah Poutasi & Cornelius Lucas

According to Howard Balzer, the Rams brought in OTs Cornelius Lucas and Jeremiah Poutasi for tryouts on Wednesday.

Poutasi, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Titans back in May of 2015. He was in the second year of his four-year, $3.385 million rookie contract when the Titans cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

The Jaguars signed him to their practice squad just a few days later and was eventually promoted to the active roster. Jacksonville decided to waive him last week.

In 2016, Poutasi appeared in one game for the Jaguars.

Lucas, 25, signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in 2014. He has managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his three years in the NFL and just finished playing out his three-year, $1,550,000 contract with the Lions.

The Lions re-signed him as a restricted free agent back in April, but he was among the team’s final roster cuts.

In 2016, Lucas appeared in five games for the Lions and played a total of 93 total snaps.
